This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Significant Fog Risk.
DISCUSSION...
A moist airmass over recent snow pack has resulted in fog across
much of northern Illinois overnight. Dense fog, with visibility
less than a half mile, will be common this morning, especially
west of the Illinois Route 47 corridor. Fog freezing on contact
with cold pavement may produce a few slick spots.
A brief period of light snow and some patchy very light freezing
drizzle is possible tonight. No significant accumulation is
expected.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
