This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...
Significant Snow Risk this morning.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.
Elevated Ice Accumulation Risk.
Limited Non thunderstorm wind Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Snow and patches of blowing snow will continue into this
afternoon, then gradually diminish away from Lake Michigan late
this afternoon into this evening. Near Lake Michigan, lake effect
snow showers will persist tonight. South of I-80, a mix of
freezing drizzle and snow early this morning will turn to all snow
by late morning.
Gusty northeast winds combined with elevated lake levels will
continue to cause minor to possibly moderate lakeshore flooding
impacts this morning.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
Wednesday...
Limited Snow Risk near Lake Michigan.
Wednesday Night...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Saturday into Sunday...
Limited Snow Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Light to briefly moderate lake effect snow showers are expected
along Lake Michigan on Wednesday, focusing primarily into Cook
County and Lake County Indiana.
