.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited hail risk...up to quarter size.
DISCUSSION...
Late tonight, a thunderstorm complex may move southeast from
Wisconsin. If this occurs, there would be an attendant strong to

north of Interstate 90. Should the storms fail to reach far
northern Illinois, gusty outflow from them may reach into the area

to severe thunderstorm risk, with a wind and hail threat.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

DISCUSSION:
If any thunderstorms are ongoing early Tuesday morning in extreme
northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana, there may be an isolated
strong to damaging wind risk.
Otherwise, heat will continue this week. While highs will be well
into the 90s in most places, especially on Wednesday and Thursday,
the air mass is not expected to be oppressively humid. Nonetheless,
continue to practice basic heat safety.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is not anticipated through tonight outside
of a low chance in far northern Illinois.
