...Slippery Conditions Possible This Morning...
A light wintry mix of rain, sleet, and snow will become just
light rain or drizzle early this morning. Temperatures falling to
around freezing could support a period of light freezing rain or
freezing drizzle through mid morning, with slippery conditions
possibly developing, mainly on elevated surfaces. Those traveling
across north central Illinois this morning, especially along the
I-39 corridor, should use caution and be prepared for slippery
conditions.
