This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Non thunderstorm wind Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.

DISCUSSION...

West winds gusting 50 to 60 mph this afternoon will gradually
diminish and become northwest this evening. A High Wind Warning is
in effect for all of northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana
until 6 pm this evening.

The strong west to northwest winds will lead to the potential for
lakeshore flooding for the Indiana shore of Lake Michigan,
particularly in Porter County, through tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday...
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.
Sunday...
Elevated Snow and sleet Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.
Monday... Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Another strong low pressure system will move through the Midwest
this weekend. A mix of rain, snow and sleet is possible Friday
night, with a rain and snow mix also possible Sunday afternoon and
Sunday night. Strong north to northwest winds could produce
lakeshore flooding along Lake Michigan Sunday night and Monday,
especially along the Indiana shore.
