This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Snow Risk north.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Rain transitioning to snow is likely for some of the area tonight.
Minor snow accumulations under one inch in addition to periodic
reductions in visibility to around one mile are possible, mainly
north of I-88.

Increasing northerly winds this evening will result in building
waves. The combination of this with near record lake levels will
result in some lakeshore flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday...
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.
Limited Snow Risk in portions of northwest Indiana.

DISCUSSION:

The lakeshore flooding threat will continue into Thursday. Lake
effect snow showers with minor accumulations are also likely into
portions of northwest Indiana on Thursday.

Early next week may see near record cold for mid-November.
