This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Non thunderstorm wind Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.

DISCUSSION...

West winds will gradually diminish and become northwest this
evening. Gusts of 30 to 40 mph are possible early.

The potential for lakeshore flooding will persist for the Indiana
shore of Lake Michigan, particularly in Porter County, as high
waves continue overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Monday.

Thursday...
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.
Sunday...
Elevated Snow and sleet Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.
Monday...
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Another strong low pressure system will move through the Midwest
this weekend. A mix of rain, snow and sleet is possible Friday
night, with a rain and snow mix also possible Sunday afternoon and
Sunday night. Strong north to northwest winds could produce
lakeshore flooding along Lake Michigan Sunday night and Monday,
especially along the Indiana shore.
