THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Elevated Frost Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Frost is expected to develop late tonight across portions of
northern Illinois outside of the city of Chicago.

In addition...widespread river flooding is occurring.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Wednesday...
Elevated Flooding Risk.
Limited Frost Risk in the early morning.
Thursday...
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

Friday...
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Another significant rain event is likely for portions of the areas
Wednesday evening through early Friday, mainly southeast of I-55
and particularly from east central Illinois into northwest Indiana
south of the Kankakee River. Renewed river rises and area flooding
of flood prone areas are possible. On Friday, very strong north
winds are possible, especially near Lake Michigan. These strong
winds could also result in minor coastal flooding along the Lake
Michigan shore.

In addition...widespread river flooding will continue.
