...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers...

Des Plaines River near Russell affecting Lake County
Des Plaines River near Gurnee affecting Lake County
Des Plaines River near Des Plaines affecting Cook County
Fox River at Algonquin Tailwater affecting Kane and McHenry
Counties
Fox River at Montgomery affecting Kane and Kendall Counties
Illinois River at Ottawa affecting La Salle County
Illinois River at La Salle affecting Bureau...La Salle and Putnam
Counties
Iroquois River at Iroquois affecting Iroquois County
Kankakee River at Shelby affecting Lake and Newton Counties
Sugar Creek at Milford affecting Iroquois County

.Significant rainfall is expected tonight into Thursday over the Iroquois
River and Sugar Creek basins, resulting in renewed rises. Rainfall tonight
and Thursday will likely miss the Fox and Des Plaines River basins.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...If you encounter a flooded roadway...turn around and
find an alternate route.

The Flood Warning continues for
The Fox River at Algonquin Tailwater.
* until Sunday morning.
* At 930 PM Wednesday the stage was 9.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Recent activity...Flood forecasts for Algonquin were moved to this
location on July 5 2011. Gage zero datum is different from the old
gage location. Flood and action stages have changed.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will crest near 9.8 feet early Thursday.
The river will fall below flood stage by early Sunday morning.
