...NWS Storm Surveys to Be Conducted Today...
National Weather Service meteorologists will be surveying damage
from Wednesday's storms, including significant damage reported
in Boone, McHenry and Winnebago counties. Reports and accounts
indicate that at least some of this damage is potentially
tornadic in nature.
Once information is gathered and assessed from the field, it will
be shared in Public Information Statements, our web page top news,
and on NWS Chicago social media pages.
