THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Hail Risk...up to quarter size.
Limited Thunderstorm Wind Damage Risk...up to 60 MPH.

DISCUSSION:

Isolated thunderstorms are expected east of Interstate 57 through
this afternoon. Widespread severe weather is not expected, but a
storm may become strong to severe. The main threat will be hail,
frequent lightning, and heavy rain. Another wave of isolated to
widely scattered showers and storms will shift toward the
southeast this evening. While we are not expecting storms in the
second wave to become severe, cannot rule out a few storms
becoming strong and producing gusty winds.

In addition...flooding is expected along portions of the Kankakee
River.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Monday and Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Thursday through Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

In addition...flooding is expected along portions of the Kankakee
River.

Spotters will not be needed.
