THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Hail Risk...up to quarter size.
Limited Thunderstorm Wind Damage Risk...up to 60 MPH.

DISCUSSION:

Expect several periods of showers and thunderstorms today, though coverage
does not look to be widespread at any one given time. The first batch
will come through northern Illinois this morning. As this first area
shifts across eastern Illinois and northwest Indiana, some of the storms
may produce hail and gusty winds. A second area of showers and storms
will pass southeast through much of the area late this afternoon briefly
into the evening. Confidence on coverage on this second round is low.

In addition...flooding is expected along portions of the Kankakee River.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Monday and Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Thursday through Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

In addition...flooding is expected along portions of the Kankakee
River.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters may be needed briefly this afternoon along and east of
Interstate 57, though widespread activation is not anticipated.
