THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Hail Risk...up to quarter size.
Limited Thunderstorm Wind Damage Risk...up to 65 MPH.
DISCUSSION:
Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon,
with the potential for a few strong to severe storms especially
south of the Interstate 80 corridor. Thunderstorms will linger
into the early evening hours before moving east of the area.
Large hail and damaging winds are the main severe weather threats
expected, along with brief heavy downpours.
In addition...flooding will continue along portions of the Illinois
and Kankakee rivers.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
Saturday...
Elevated Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Sunday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk...mainly east of I-55.
Monday through Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Thunderstorms are expected across portions of the area Saturday
night into Sunday morning. A few strong to severe storms will
be possible.
In addition...flooding will continue along portions of the Illinois
and Kankakee rivers.

Spotters may be needed this afternoon and evening primarily south
of Interstate 80.
