The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a

* Flood Warning for
The Fox River at Algonquin Tailwater.
* from this afternoon to late Wednesday night.
* At 330 AM Monday the stage was 9.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Recent activity...Flood forecasts for Algonquin were moved to this
location on July 5 2011. Gage zero datum is different from the old
gage location. Flood and action stages have changed.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by this afternoon and continue to
rise to near 9.6 feet by early Tuesday.The river will fall below
flood stage by Wednesday evening.
