THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.
.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.
THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS LATE TONIGHT.
PORTIONS OF THE IROQUOIS AND KANKAKEE RIVERS WILL REMAIN AT
MINOR TO MODERATE FLOOD STAGE.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED WEDNESDAY. A FEW OF THESE
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING MAY REACH SEVERE LIMITS AND
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HEAVY RAINFALL AND FLOODING ALONG AND SOUTH
OF THE INTERSTATE 88 CORRIDOR DURING THE AFTERNOON AND THEN ALONG
AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80 DURING THE EVENING. THE PRIMARY HAZARDS
WITH ANY SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE
HAIL.
PERIODIC THUNDERSTORMS ARE PROBABLE THURSDAY THROUGH MONDAY.
WHILE THERE IS UNCERTAINTY ON SPECIFICS...THE PATTERN INDICATES
HEAVY RAINFALL WILL AT LEAST BE POSSIBLE MUCH OF THE TIME...AND
GIVEN AN ACTIVE PATTERN COULD PRESENT FLOODING CONCERNS.
PORTIONS OF THE IROQUOIS AND KANKAKEE RIVERS WILL REMAIN IN MINOR
TO FLOOD STAGE THROUGH MID TO LATE WEEK.
