Counties
Fox River at Montgomery affecting Kane and Kendall Counties
Fox River at Dayton affecting La Salle County
.A combination of heavy rainfall over the weekend and additional
heavy rainfall today and tonight may bring the Fox River above
bankfull in some locations.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Safety message...If you encounter a flooded roadway...turn around and
find an alternate route.

The Fox River at Algonquin Tailwater.
* until Wednesday morning.
* At 930 AM Monday the stage was 7.5 feet.
* Action stage is 9.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Recent activity...Flood forecasts for Algonquin were moved to this
location on July 5 2011. Gage zero datum is different from the old
gage location. Flood and action stages have changed.
* Forecast...The river will rise to near 9.0 feet by Tuesday
afternoon.
