Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non-Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Wind gusts of up to 40 to 45 mph from the south-southeast are
expected from the mid to late afternoon into the early evening.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon through
the evening ahead of a cold front. Severe weather is not
expected.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Limited Non-Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Showers and isolated to scattered embedded thunderstorms on Friday
will likely produce periods of heavier rainfall rates, which may
cause a threat for localized flooding.

Expect 35 to 40 mph gusts from the south-southwest on Saturday,
with some potential for gusts in excess of 40 mph.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
