This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Saturday...
Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A quick-moving weather disturbance will bring a period of rain
and snow to the region from near daybreak through midday Saturday.
Areas along and south of Interstate 80 will likely see mainly
rain with this system, with a period of snow more likely from the
Interstate 88 corridor northward across northern Illinois. Snow
may fall heavily enough to accumulate for a time Saturday morning
across far northern Illinois, before mixing with rain and ending
from west to east during the afternoon. Areas north of Interstate
88 could see up to an inch of accumulation mainly on grassy
surfaces, though locally higher amounts are possible near the
Wisconsin border.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
