Limited hail risk...up to quarter size.
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.

DISCUSSION...
Showers and thunderstorms are expected across much of the area
this afternoon into early this evening. There is a chance that a few
storms could be severe with damaging winds and large hail the main threats,
with a low chance for tornadoes. The greatest risk is generally along
and south of the Kankakee River.
