Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Thunderstorms are possible into this afternoon. Heavy rainfall
potentially training over the same locations could result in a
threat for flash flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Elevated Non-Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
Sunday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non-Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

South winds could gust to around 40 mph Saturday afternoon, which
combined with fairly low humidities, will result in a heightened
risk of wind-driven grass fires.

Thunderstorms are possible Sunday afternoon into Sunday evening with
a low chance for isolated strong to severe thunderstorms. If any storms
were to become severe, locally damaging winds would be the primary
severe threat.

Spotter activation will likely not be needed through tonight.

Moving toward east-northeast at 40-50 mph.
