Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Tornado risk.
Limited hail risk...up to nickel size.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon primarily
along and southeast of Interstate 55. Some may become strong to
severe, producing wind gusts strong enough to down tree limbs or
even a brief tornado.
Multiple rounds of showers and storms may cause ponding in low-
lying and poor drainage areas mainly southeast of I-57 and south
of the Kankakee River Valley this evening.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
Monday night...
Elevated Frost and Freeze Risk.
Tuesday night...
Significant Frost and Freeze Risk.
Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Near freezing temperatures are possible across portions of
interior northern Illinois Monday night. Sub-freezing temperatures
are then possible Tuesday night over much of northern Illinois
away from the urban heat island of Chicago. Even in areas where
temperatures stay just above freezing, frost is likely.
