This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk late tonight.

DISCUSSION...

Southerly winds will gust to between 35 and 45 mph this afternoon
and evening, which will result in a heightened fire danger.

There is a slight chance of thunderstorms after midnight tonight,
mainly west of a Rockford to Peru line.

Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Monday...
Elevated Freeze Risk.
Tuesday and Wednesday...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Thunderstorms are possible Sunday afternoon and evening,
especially south and east of I-55, including northwest Indiana.
One or two of the storms could become strong to severe with
locally damaging winds the primary severe threat.

Near freezing temperatures are possible across portions of
interior northern Illinois Monday night. Sub-freezing temperatures
are then likely Tuesday night over much of northern Illinois away
from the urban heat island of Chicago. Even in areas where
temperatures stay just above freezing, frost is likely.
