This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited hail risk...up to quarter size.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Most locations will stay dry for much of tonight. However, an
isolated thunderstorm or two with the potential for large hail
may form in northern Illinois west of the Chicago metro, mainly in
the evening.

Southerly winds may gust up to 40 mph at times tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Wednesday...
Elevated Severe Thunderstorm Risk, particularly south of I-80.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Thursday...
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Thunderstorms are expected across the area Wednesday, with the
potential for some of the storms to become severe with damaging
winds, large hail and possibly a tornado during the afternoon and
evening.

Strong westerly wind gusts in excess of 45 mph are possible
Thursday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are unlikely to be needed through tonight.
