Limited Thunderstorm Risk late tonight.

DISCUSSION...

Showers and isolated embedded thunderstorms are possible very late
tonight, mainly south and west of a Rochelle to Kankakee line.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Limited Fog Risk near the lake in northeast Illinois.

DISCUSSION...

Widespread showers and embedded thunderstorms on Friday will
likely produce periods of heavy rainfall. This may lead to a
localized threat for flash flooding, mainly across parts of
northwest Illinois through the morning.

South to southwest winds may gust up to 45 mph on Saturday.
Additional periodic shower and thunderstorm chances exist through
Sunday evening.
