...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON
TO MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Snow expected. The snow may fall heavy at times early
Monday evening with snowfall rates up to an inch per hour. Total
snow accumulations of 2 to 3 inches are expected, locally
higher in the far north.

* WHERE...Winnebago, Boone, Ogle and DeKalb Counties, McHenry, and
Kane Counties.

* WHEN...From 3 PM this afternoon to midnight CST tonight.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for reduced visibilities at
times. Thunder is also briefly possible this evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
