THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Snow Risk.
Limited Fire Weather Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Breezy conditions with wind gusts of 25 to 35 mph are expected
today. Snow, possibly beginning as a wintry mix, is also expected
to develop across northern Illinois this afternoon and continue
during the evening. The snow may be heavy this evening, up to 1 inch
per hour, with the best chance of accumulations along and north of I-88.
Some thunderstorms are also possible over the area during this time.

Portions of the Kankakee, Iroquois, Illinois, and Pecatonica rivers
will remain in flood.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday...
Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Additional snow showers are likely on Tuesday and Tuesday night,
with some minor accumulations possible.

Portions of the Kankakee, Iroquois, Illinois, will remain in
flood.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
