THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Snow and Sleet Risk this evening.
DISCUSSION:
Breezy conditions with wind gusts of up to 35 mph will continue into
this evening. A winter mix of snow and sleet will become all snow and
continue this evening, especially north of I-80. The snow may be heavy
at times, with up to 1 inch per hour. The highest accumulations are
expected along and north of I-88. Some thunderstorms are also possible
over the area during this time.
Portions of the Kankakee, Iroquois, Illinois, and Pecatonica rivers
will remain in flood.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Limited Snow Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Additional snow showers are likely on Tuesday and Tuesday night,
with some minor accumulations possible.
Portions of the Kankakee, Iroquois, Illinois, will remain in
flood.
