NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Flooding is expected along portions of many area rivers.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Monday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Snow or Sleet Risk.
Tuesday...
Elevated Snow Risk.
Wednesday morning...
Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Breezy conditions with wind gusts of 25-30 mph are expected
Monday. Snow, possibly beginning as a wintry mix, is also expected
to develop across northern Illinois Monday afternoon and continue
during the evening. The snow may be heavy at times, with the best
chance of accumulations along and north of I-88. Some
thunderstorms are also possible over the area Monday evening.

Additional snow showers are likely on Tuesday and Tuesday night,
with some minor accumulations possible.

Flooding is expected along portions of many area rivers.
