Fox River at Algonquin Tailwater affecting Kane and McHenry Counties
Fox River at Montgomery affecting Kane and Kendall Counties
.Synopsis...Total rainfall amounts of one to two thirds of an inch
were observed overnight into this morning. This rainfall will lead
to a slight rise in river levels. Little to no additional
precipitation is expected tonight through Sunday.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Safety message...If you encounter a flooded roadway...turn around and
find an alternate route.

The Fox River at Algonquin Tailwater.
* until Tuesday morning.
* At 830 AM Thursday the stage was 9.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 10.1 feet by
early Friday. The river will fall below flood stage Monday evening.
