THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Elevated Ice Accumulation Risk.
Limited Snow and Sleet Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A wintry mix is likely across portions of the area overnight. This
includes a period of freezing rain, most favored in an axis from
Rochelle through the west and southwest and southern Chicago
suburbs, east central Illinois and much of northwest Indiana.
Minor ice accumulations are likely, especially on elevated
surfaces, which may result in difficult travel.

Portions of the Kankakee River will remain in flood.

Limited Ice Accumulation Risk in the early morning.
