NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Gusty west to southwest winds and dry conditions will support an
elevated fire risk this evening, mainly in western portions of the
forecast area.
Portions of the Kankakee River will remain in flood.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Friday...
Elevated Ice Accumulation Risk.
Limited Snow and Sleet Risk.
Saturday...
Limited Ice Accumulation Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Friday night there is a chance of a wintery mix across the area,
with sleet and freezing rain possibly mixing with rain south and
snow north. Minor snow and ice accumulations are possible. This
would primarily be during the overnight hours Friday into early
Saturday morning.
Portions of the Kankakee River will remain in flood.
