THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Flooding is expected along portions of the Kankakee River.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday Night...
Elevated Snow Risk.
Elevated Ice Accumulation Risk.
Saturday...
Elevated Snow Risk.
Limited Ice Accumulation Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A winter storm will impact the region Friday night into
Saturday with at least minor snow across much of the area.
The heavy snow is most favored south of a line from Rockford
to the southern Chicago metro to Rensselaer. In addition, some
areas well south of Interstate 80 may see minor ice accumulation.

Portions of the Kankakee River will remain in flood.
