This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk areawide...with an associated:
Level 1 of 5 Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph toward east-
central Illinois and northwest Indiana.
Limited Flooding Risk.
High Swim Risk Lake Michigan Beaches.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms are expected through this evening. The
strongest storms will be capable of producing torrential rain
and localized flooding. Localized damaging winds are also
possible southeast of a Pontiac to Valparaiso line.

Northerly winds will lead to high waves and dangerous swimming
conditions at Lake Michigan beaches this afternoon and tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Monday...
High Swim Risk Lake Michigan Beaches.
Tuesday and Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk at times.

DISCUSSION...

High waves will lead to dangerous swimming conditions at Lake
Michigan beaches Monday.

Moving toward the southeast at 15 mph for northern Illinois.
Moving toward the southeast at 20 to 30 mph for east-central
Illinois and northwest Indiana.
