DISCUSSION...

Scattered showers and thunderstorms may continue overnight,
mainly near and south of Interstate 80. The strongest storms will
be capable of producing gusty wind gusts and torrential rainfall
which may lead to localized flash flooding.

Areas of fog are expected across interior northern Illinois late
tonight.
