Elevated Flooding Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Isolated non-severe thunderstorms are possible this evening along
and south of a Peru to Waukegan, Illinois line. Primary threats
include a few lightning strikes and localized heavy downpours.
Additional storms are likely late tonight into Friday morning,
especially along and south of Interstate 80. Primary hazards
include gusty to locally damaging wind gusts along with heavy
rainfall which may lead localized flash flooding.
