Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Wednesday into Thursday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Level 1 of 5 Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Level 1 of 5 Flash Flooding Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk Wednesday afternoon.
Saturday and Sunday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Isolated thunderstorms may develop Tuesday afternoon south of
I-80.

A few rounds of strong to severe storms may move through the area
Wednesday and Thursday. The main threats with the strongest storms
would be damaging winds and flash flooding.

Away from any thunderstorms, peak afternoon heat indices on
Wednesday could top out around 100 degrees in some areas.
