Level 1 of 5 Damaging Wind Risk...Up to 60 mph.
Elevated Flooding Risk.
High Swim Risk Lake Michigan Beaches.
DISCUSSION...
Showers and storms will move across the area today. A few storms
may be severe mainly southeast of Interstate 55 primarily between
11 AM and 3 PM. Additional showers and storms are possible after
sunset with a threat for localized flooding.
Strengthening northeast winds and building waves on Lake Michigan
will produce hazardous swim conditions from this afternoon through
tonight.
