DISCUSSION...
There is a chance for thunderstorms this afternoon into this
evening, mainly south of a Pontiac to Rensselaer line. The main
threat from these storms will be damaging winds and very heavy
rain.
Another round of thunderstorms with an axis of torrential
rainfall and potential flooding across central Illinois could
reach as far north as a Pontiac to Fowler line tonight.
Dangerous swimming conditions continue for the Illinois beaches
of Lake Michigan through tonight.
