DISCUSSION...
Scattered to numerous showers and embedded thunderstorms will
occur today. The greatest coverage will be near and north of I-80.
Torrential rainfall and very slow storm motions will lead to a
threat for localized flash flooding.
Additional heavy rain producing storms are possible this evening
and overnight, with an additional flash flood potential into early
Saturday morning.
The strongest storms this afternoon and tonight will be capable of
producing strong and gusty winds.
