Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited hail risk...up to 1 inch east-central IL.
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph east-central IL.
DISCUSSION...
A few thunderstorms are possible well south of I-80 in east
central IL and into IN through mid afternoon. Some of these storms
could be strong.

Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.
Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:
A warm front is expected to move into northern Illinois and
northwest Indiana Monday afternoon, with dangerous heat and
humidity south of the front where peak heat indices around
110 are possible. North of the front, there is a chance of
severe thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Dangerous heat will continue Tuesday and Wednesday. Peak heat
indices of 101 to 109 are expected Tuesday and 97 to 105 on
Wednesday.
There is a chance of strong to severe thunderstorms late Wednesday
afternoon into Wednesday night.
