Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Fog Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon and
continue into this evening. These storms are not expected to be
severe, but the strongest storms could produce gusty winds and
small hail. Locally heavy rainfall could result in some ponding in
fields and ditches and possibly on some roadways as well. Localized
flash flooding cannot be ruled out, but the likelihood of this
occurring is low at this time. Patchy dense fog may develop this
evening and into the overnight hours near the Lake Michigan lakeshore
and may creep inland during the night.
