DISCUSSION...

A few thunderstorms are possible through tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Sunday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk mainly well south of I-80.
Monday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk mainly north of I-80.
Significant Excessive Heat Risk mainly south of I-80.
Tuesday...
Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.
Wednesday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Thunderstorms are possible Sunday and Sunday night, with an
isolated strong storm possible well south of I-80.

A warm front is expected to move into northern Illinois and
northwest Indiana Monday afternoon, with dangerous heat and
humidity likely south of the front where peak heat indices around
110 area possible. North of the front there is a chance of
thunderstorms, if thunderstorms occur, severe weather would be a
threat.

Dangerous heat will continue Tuesday and Wednesday. Peak heat indices
of 101 to 109 are expected Tuesday and 96 to 104 on Wednesday.

There is a chance of strong to severe thunderstorms late Wednesday
afternoon into Wednesday night.
