Limited Thunderstorm Risk late tonight.

DISCUSSION...

Isolated thunderstorms are possible late tonight southwest of the
Chicago metro.

Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A warm front is expected to move into northern Illinois and
northwest Indiana Monday afternoon, with dangerous heat and
humidity south of the front where peak heat indices around 105 are
possible. North of the front, there is a chance of severe
thunderstorms late morning through the afternoon.

Dangerous heat will continue Tuesday and Wednesday. Peak heat
indices of 105 to 109 are expected Tuesday and 97 to 105 on
Wednesday.

There is a chance of thunderstorms late Wednesday into early
Thursday morning.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
