This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk area wide...with an associated:
Limited hail risk...up to 1 inch east-central IL.
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph east-central IL.
Limited Fog Risk near Lake Michigan.

DISCUSSION...

A few thunderstorms are possible area-wide through early
afternoon. Additional strong thunderstorms are possible across
east-central Illinois late this afternoon.

Dense fog will continue near the Wisconsin state line through
morning morning, with additional areas of fog along Lake Michigan
this morning into early afternoon.

Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A warm front is expected to move into northern Illinois and
northwest Indiana Monday afternoon, with dangerous heat and
humidity south of the front where peak heat indices around
110 are possible. North of the front, there is a chance of
severe thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Dangerous heat will continue Tuesday and Wednesday. Peak heat indices
of 101 to 109 are expected Tuesday and 97 to 105 on Wednesday.

There is a chance of strong to severe thunderstorms late Wednesday
afternoon into Wednesday night.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
