DISCUSSION...

Strong southerly winds may result in patchy blowing and drifting
snow this evening, particularly in rural parts of northern
Illinois. The threat for blowing and drifting snow will increase
late tonight and last through Wednesday as winds turn westerly and
gust over 45 mph.
