Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Elevated Snow Risk for Porter County Indiana.

DISCUSSION...

Cold weather will prevail this morning and again tonight. Lows
tonight are forecast below zero across much of northern Illinois
west of the Chicago metro. Wind chills are expected to drop to
0 to 10 below.

Lake effect snow will continue today in far northwest Indiana,
namely Porter County. The heaviest snowfall rates and impacts to
travel are expected in the northern and eastern part of the county
and through early this afternoon.
