DISCUSSION:

Lake effect snow is likely for far northwest Indiana, namely
Porter County and points east, during Wednesday night and
Thursday. Accumulating snow of several inches and dangerous travel
conditions are possible.

Colder air will spread over the region Wednesday and persist
through early Friday, with reinforcing cold air over the weekend
into next week. The lowest wind chills of 10 below to near 20
below zero are expected Wednesday Night into Thursday morning,
with the coldest readings west of the Chicago metro. Finally, a
few rounds of light to moderate snow accumulations are possible
over the weekend into next week.
