This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.
Elevated Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Light snow will affect the region today. While accumulations will
generally be on the light side, snow may adversly impact the
morning commute. Lake effect snow showers will continue into
tonight, mainly in Porter county Indiana. Cold arctic air will
spread in behind a cold front later today. Wind chills will fall
below zero across the entire area tonight, and portions of
northern Illinois west of Chicago seeing wind chills as low as 15
below to 20 below zero by Tuesday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday and Wednesday...
Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.
Thursday through Saturday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Wind chills of 15 below to 25 below zero are possible Wednesday
morning.
