Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Temperatures tonight and tomorrow night will fall into the single
digits. Wind chills tonight and tomorrow morning will be below
zero across northern Illinois and northwest Indiana. The far west
suburbs will see wind chills near 15 degrees below zero.

Lake-effect snow is expected over northwest Indiana beginning this
evening and lasting into tomorrow afternoon. Heaviest snowfall
rates will occur overnight tonight and early tomorrow morning.
Northern Porter County will see the heaviest snowfall and could
end up with several inches of snow by tomorrow afternoon.
