Elevated Snow Risk early for parts of northwest Indiana.

DISCUSSION...

Lake effect snow will continue south and east of downtown Chicago,
primarily across northern Lake and Porter Counties through the
early to mid evening. This will cause some travel impacts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Tuesday Night...
Limited Snow Risk.
Wednesday...
Elevated Snow Risk.
Limited Ice Accumulation Risk near and south of US-24.

DISCUSSION:

A long duration of wintry precipitation or multiple waves of
wintry precipitation late Tuesday night through Thursday is
forecast. The potential exists for a significant plowable
snowfall for at least portions of the region along with
associated travel impacts.
